General Promo Terms & Conditions
Price for Kereru is for 4 adults. Price for Kingfisher and Takahe is for 2 adults. All bookings subject to availability. Valid for new bookings only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Offers apply to selected room types only. Must use the applicable promo code at the time of booking.
Valid for stays from 28 April to 31 July unless sold out earlier. Full payment required at check-in. Cancellation free until 14 days before arrival, cancellation after that is full payment. Check-in is between 3.00pm – 5.00pm (unless prior arrangements have been made), and check-out is by 10:00am. Blackout dates and minimum stay requirements apply.
Dining Voucher Terms
Dining vouchers for Caldera Estate Winery are non-refundable, non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and must be used during the booked stay. Any additional spend is payable directly to the venue. Reservations are recommended and subject to the venue’s availability and trading hours.
Midweek Package Specific Terms
Midweek offers apply to eligible midweek stays only. “Stay 3, Pay 2” offer includes one complimentary night within the same booking and cannot be split across separate stays.
Weekend Package Specific Terms
Weekend packages are valid for eligible weekend stays only. Dining voucher inclusion applies to Saturday night dining as specified in each package.

Our recent stay at Newton Heights B&B was the highlight of our three-week tour of South Island. The owner/hosts Brendon and Gail are engaging and gracious, their architecturally designed home is stunning and comfortable and the breakfast (complete with barista quality coffee choices) was abundant and divine. Beautiful views over Akaroa Harbour and easy walking distance to the village. Simply perfect in all regards!

This review may sound a little extreme however as a B&B experience this is a "must do". It's not just the joy de la vive of the welcoming hosts Gail and Brendan or the views from all corners of their beautiful home. Its not just the spa pool, the conversation, the silence as required, the comfort, cleanliness and fab breakfast its the feeling you've walked into the true warmth of an Akaroa experience - it was unforgettable!
